Lesson 8:Teaching with contrived experiences
I have learned that contrived experiences are the edited version of direct experiences which are use to substitute for the real thing when it is not practical or not possible to bring in the classroom.
There are contrived experience varied in different types; The Model Mock-up ,Specimen,Simulation and Objects.Contrived experience is used to over come limitations of space and time to edit reality to focus on parts or a process of system that intent to study, to overcome difficulties of size to understand the inaccessible and help the learners understand abstraction.The teacher should interact to the students to develop the decision making skills.

Lesson 7: Direct Purposeful Experience and Beyond.
Insights:
These direct activities may be preparing us.It contrast us howto be a vicarious to all the things we consider. As the word direct,purposeful,for me it means that a learner
will learn by a direct to the concrete concepts with a purpose.Experience is the best direct teaching example .Because through experience you can learn fast and know how it effect to yourself. like what the quote says "one once of experience is better than a ton of theory". Because it is only in experience that any theory has vital and verifiable significance .

Lesson 6: Using and Evaluating Instructional Materials
Learnings,
I learned using instructional materials that we select must, Is to give a true picture of the ideas they present, contribute to the attachment of the learning objective, Be aligned to curriculum standards and competencies, Be appropriate to the age intelligence and experience of the learners, Be in good and satisfactory condition, be culture sensitive and gender sensitive, Provide for a teacher's guide,and some more,. I also learned the 3P's prepare yourself, prepare your student prepare the materials and follow up.
